We view our role as forging links and being relevant to the needs of Australian alumni in Thailand. Membership is open to those who have returned to Thailand, students still studying in Australia and Australians who are currently living in Thailand.
We organise events so alumni of all ages can link up, connect and help each other in their jobs, career advancement or business opportunities. Networking events are held in in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Pattaya and Phuket.
All work and no play is not the way to go. Apart from the networking events, new friendships are found and forged at the association’s sports and charity events.
We believe in a lifetime of learning. We organise casual mentoring sessions called fireside chats. At these events, prominent and successful alumni or personalities will share their experiences, successes, failures and recall how they overcame challenges.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Since 2016, admission to AAA Thailand events have been free of charge. However, the AAA Thailand Committee reserves the right to charge nominal fees for certain events from July 2020 onwards. For events organised by the Australian Embassy, AAA Thailand will submit names of alumni members to the embassy on a rotation basis. However, the final decision as to which alumni are invited rests with the Australian Embassy.
